Yu-Ren Huang

Yu-Ren Huang was born in Taipei and now lives in Taipei. He graduated from the Department of Sociology, Tunghai University and now works as a freelancer. His roles include freelance writer and project manager, while he sometimes works as a tour guide and a river tracing coach. Driven by his interest in Taiwan’s traditional cultures, Huang started photographing diverse ethnic groups as well as ruined architecture and unique cultural landscapes.In recent years, he has turned his lens to natural landscapes in Taiwan, especially utilizing his canyoning skills to explore sublime valleys around Taiwan, capturing canyon views that rival the splendid spots around the world.
