How does photography become an art form within the museum system, leading to its collection, research, publication, and exhibition? The inaugural TIPF Summit focuses on the relationship between “photography,” “art,” and “democracy,” bringing together curators, researchers, and photographers from domestic and international art institutions. Through keynote speeches and discussions, it explores various aspects of photographic art’s essence and evolution, from institutional collection, curation, publication, artistic practice to public participation.
