Sharleen Yu is a senior curator at Taipei Fine Arts Museum (TFAM). She focuses on the development of modern and contemporary art in Taiwan and its dynamic relationship with the international art world, as well as the the creative conceptual shifts and interdisciplinary artistic practices driven by technological advancements. During 2017-2024, she was the Exhibition Department chief (2017-2022) and the Research Department chief (2022-2024).
The exhibitions she has curated include Theater of the Times: Contemporary Images and Their Many Interpretations (2025), Worldward: The Transformative Force of Art in Taiwan’s New Cultural Movement (2021), Faint Light, Dark Shadows (2017), History’s Shadows and Light (2017, Taipei Cultural Center, New York), Time: The Images of Chang Chao-Tang, 1959-2013 (2013), and documentary exhibition The Mighty Image: Photos from the Independence Post, 1985-1994 (2023).
